Hearty welcome, Dave! If we're in the same boat, this forum has been a life preserver!

I don't even talk to another person most days (wife & kid don't count).

It's been great to have some contact, even if it is with all you girlie-men raising babies.....

Gotta go, just got invited to a tea party......

I get it! The Swedish Chef from the Muppet Show!

I was kinda partial to Beaker.....although I have been likened to one of the old men in the balcony heckling all the time.

Yeah...I like Beaker too...my wife makes the best "beaker face" when she wants something. and omg....the two old men in the balcony... I know of so many relatives I could compare them to :???:

I live in a small rural town and the response to me being a sahd has not always been the warmest. the traditional roles of male and female have strong roots here and needless to say my wife and I don't fit that mold. however I am one of the proudest parents and my 8yr daughter get the benefit. she gets me at her school, I arrange all her parties (I was a caterer) and I get to spend more time with her than I ever dreamed. I am a very lucky daddy, and I know it. So when I came across this website and found so many other dads who are doing the same and basicly knowing that I'm not alone this is truely a great thing. I may not have another sahd netx door but I now have access to many. thanks

Welcome. And feel free to post about anything....except beer, these guys will brew anything. They'll chew your arm off and make a newbie beer in your honor.

We seem to have such a great bunch of guys here! Even though we might have our differences, we're all daddies at the end of the day.

Dude, welcome! Now when we have our virtual poker nights, we'll have some food in addition to all the homemade beer.

Hey - virtual poker nights, that'd be fun. Does any site (like Yahoo!) have an online poker game? We'll have to check that out.

Virtual Poker would be fun, texas holdem anyone? I bet yahoo has a free version that we could create a private room.
