Have you guys played Black and White???
I have seen some of the older games and started to remember which ones I had wanted to play. A friend had Fallout, but at the time my PC could not handle it. I played it a few times, but life caught up to me and I forgot...
There are so many older games I never played that I thought it would be cool to find them.

I bought Heroes III on a whim several years ago (pre-kids) and never played it. If you're interested, you can have it. I don't see myself ever getting into it.

I am up for anything... With the weather getting bad and Connor getting into the PC games I thought it would be cool to play the older RPG games as well as the RTS games he is cranking at... He is doing very well in DAWN of WAR and RISE of LEGENDS...
The big problem is just finding the stuff without spending big $$$
PM me any games you have you want to send out and I will send you some $$ for Shipping...
If anyone wants DoW Winter Assault and Dark Crusade... Dark Crusade is STAND alone, but Winter Assault needs DAWN of WAR... I can not find those disks... I thing a friend has it in his garage in storage waiting to move... I sent a set to Bollux... I do not have too many games floating around right now. I sold a bunch cheap on ebay a while back. (Diablo, DII, Star Trek Armada and a few others)
I have Warcraft III floating around somewhere too...

I have the DoW disks. If he is into rts i will flip through the book and see what I have. like i said spell force 2 has been entertaining so far and its an rts/rpg so gets a bit of both worlds.

The Fallouts are definitely not kid safe...prostitution and drug addiction for starters. Maybe Morrowind or KOTOR on the XBOX?
For RTS's have you tried Age of Empires? Fantastic games.

Here's what I found so far:
Baldur's Gate I + Tales of the Sword Coast
Icewind Dale
Total Annihilation
Neverwinter Nights Gold
Baldur's Gate II
Dune II - may like it if you ever read Herbert
D&D Pool of Radiance - iirc, this game was bugged, dunno if they ever did fix it
I swear I had more, but we have a bunch of stuff in boxes yet...a year later #-o
Let me know what you want and as long as you pay shipping, I'll send ya a copy.

Dune II is like the MOTHER of RTS games... I have that one, you can actually download it for free online now...
I know the Fallouts are not for Connor, but other games yes...

---> I might have the original BG flaoting somewhere, if you really want it. Temple of Elemental Evil isn't too bad when you add in all the fan fixes. It should be next to free in bargain bins around the country. Frivolous stuff like "tires for the car" has kept my computer upgrade on hold for a bit.

Tonight, the wife and I are walking through Wal-Mart, shopping for the kids, and she asked me what I wanted for xmas. We were in the video dept., and she wondered if I wanted a new game. I said no, since I've been kind of disappointed with anything other than Madden. Halo 2 and Star Wars were cool at first, but I lose interest when I'm just shooting things up.
So I may be willing to give another one a try. I don't mind shooter games, but I'd like it better if there was some sort of puzzle or mystery to figure out, like in Myst. I liked that game, though there was no action. Could you guys recommend anything PC or xBox (not the 360) that is sort of a cross b/t Halo and Myst? I've tried Fable and World of Warcraft in the past, but got bored with both of them. Fable was alright in the beginning, but I don't like the whole 'experience points' aspect. And WofW, where you have to control legions of armies, isn't interesting either.

You won't go wrong with Bioshock (http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/home.html) for your PC. It's a shooter with a very engaging and original story. I have it for the 360 and love it...definitely a Game of the Year contender. Turn down the lights after the family goes to bed...8)

N-C-D
Since you like Halo and puzzles..
HALF-LIFE (You can find the original for the PC Cheap, but you need to use the code to get the fixes for newer operating systems.)
HALF-LIFE 2 Xbox!!! Very Well Done!
Star Wars...
Star Wars Lego... Both games for XBOX are a total blast and can be picked up anytime. I got them for my son, but I may have enjoyed them more
RPG
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - XBOX the first one is probably one of the best Star Wars Titles EVER!!!

I'm a big fan of Dune 2000...my wife introduced me to that before we got married, and if you dig Dune II, it's basically that game on steroids. My wife and I used to pick up used copies cheap from time to time to give to people so we could gang up on them online...except now there aren't any servers that support online play for it anymore. And she doesn't want to head-to-head with me on the LAN. :plasma: Guess I got a little too good.
