Did you find out what your kids would be before hand? Whats you thoughts? I don't want to know but my wife does... and the battle rages!
(I always had an answer for people that asked "do you know what it is?" I'd say, "yeah, we're pretty sure its human!" Thats me, always a joker)

We took a peek, I didnt really want to, but my wife did, I didnt feel like arguing, so we did. Just give into her, it will give you alot more time to prepare the baby's room the way you want it. If you wait until the baby is born, she will be all over you about getting that room done asap. But the baby will most likely stay in your room in a bassonet. But she will still want that room done.
ugh, thats what her arguments are too...
The baby's room is still occupied by a toddler. The toddlers room is occupied by an office, and the office is a mouldy basement waiting to be dried up and remodeled...
*sigh*

oh no, well at least you know you have something to do. lol
We are in the process of drawing up plans for our new house that we are gonna build, so I am gonna make sure there is at least one extra room. Just in case. And I will kepp that room pretty clutter free. Then hopefully I wont be in that predicament.

I dont like surprises of any kind, dont know why, I just like to try to be prepared for everything, I dont even like horror movies because of too many surprises. My wife teases me all the time calling me a scaredy cat!!
well, the ultrasound is in 3.5hrs. she keeps calling and asking me "did you decide?"
I've told her I have decided long ago, what she should be asking is if I changed my mind!
Anyway, if we get decent printoffs I'll post 'em this afternoon

Cool, and let us know if you give into her. Is she gonna take a maternity leave. Obviously for a while, but is she gonna take the whole three months.
Yeah, we switched our insurance this year for short term disability for her, she's covered for three months, paid at 60%
that will be a very nice time for all of us, I think

Nice!! three months of everyone staying home. That would work for the first 3 days in my house, then we would all be going crazy!!
Just kidding, I bet we would do good. Go to sesame place alot, and road trips!
What a learning day it was... come to find out I had it all wrong, she won't have 3 months, only 6 weeks. Kinda bummed about that.
I didn't exactly cave, the ultrasound tech just heard my wife and not me.
Don't have time to post the pics now, but I'll get it here soon, I think. I'm pretty sure I have to scan them for the family anyway. Only takes a minute more to post after that
Until then

Oh wow I see the little guy! :D
I never can pick them out on those ultrasound sheets. I am so amazed the first one is just perfect.
We've been pretty lucky with the UStech and images, Tara's showed up really well too...

Thats what I always told people.
We wanted to know our baby's gender as soon as possible. That way we could make sure to decorate the room early on. And it didnt hurt that we could give relatives good ideas on what kind of stuff to buy.
Only once have I ever looked at an ultrasound and been able to tell the child's gender. My brother-in-law's second boy looked as though he was sitting on the camera. Made for a pretty obvious picture!
Yeah, the tech said "imagine your baby is sitting on a sheet of glass, this is the view"
Pretty cool stuff, if you ask me. We got to see the little heart beating, jaw working, just unbelievably cool. I think I would feel the same seeing it again and again. Some things just don't get old, ya know?

I have no idea if that is a guy or a girl. I just called it a guy for the heck of it. :P

OK, I just thought maybe the tech told you guys what the sex was. Those are pretty decent pictures, Congratulations tt3, and I pray that the little guy is healthy. I hope you dont have to go through what we have went through with ours.
Amen to that. People ask us what we want it to be and I say "happy and healthy" all else is secondary.
She didn't see any little boy parts by the way, so we're still uncertain but pretty sure its a girl. :)

Don't go painting rooms pink quite yet. It is very common for the little guy on the little guy to hide....

If they get a really good picture, 90%of the time they are right, but if they are unsure and say, I think you have a girl, I wouldnt paint anyhting either. My boy just loved to show his goods off, the ultrasound tech showed us over and over, he just kept sticking it in front of the camera.
I hope that isnt a sign of what will come to be!!
I'm wise to the tricks of fetuss in development! Our little nephew was supposed to be a girl according to the us tech  thats why i'm careful to say "couldn't see any boy parts"
Oh, and there's no way I'm painting again anyway, the nursery is blue, and will remain blue!
