Hello!
I found this site last night while trying to dig up a little information on how to make my "job" a little easier. Nice to know there's other dads with the same concerns. I've been home for four months now and I finally feel like I've come to grips with the fact that this is what I'm going to be doing for a while. I do get positive responses from people, however, when I tell them about the change in our life. Makes things a little easier.
I have two sets of twin at home - 18 months and six months - so my day is packed from beginning to end. I'm sure I'll be seeking out help as the days go by! Thanks for putting together a great site!

Welcome! Wow, 2 sets of twins, I cannot imagine what your days are like. 2 kids wear me out and one is at school now :)
Welcome aboard, glad you found us! With numbers like that you'll be passing up Remington in no time! :D
If you haven't already, check out Minnesota Dads at Home (http://www.mdah.org) if you're looking for playgroups in your area. They've been great helping me set up something in the frigid north. ;)

Welcome. Let me guess: based on your screen name, are you a fan of In and Out Burgers?

Am I'm seeing double ?
Welcome, there's probably lots you can teach us!
If you use the exponential rule (ie: 2 kids are 4 times the work), then you're 16 times busier than those of with just one kid. Sounds like we should owe you money everytime you post
Again, Welcome!

Thanks for the replies.
In response to the In and Out Burger, I have yet to eat there, although that does sound good right about now! "Doubledouble" is my unique way of saying I have two sets of twins.
I've been a SAHD going on four months now. It's definitely been the strangest four months I've had in my life. At this point for me each day is like a lot of work. There's not a lot of time to enjoy my kids. I'm always looking toward the next nap or next feeding until my wife comes home. It does make the days go by quickly, however. As things get "easier" I'm sure I'll have a little time to enjoy my time.
I went to a Minnesota Dad's night out on Wednesday. They meet once a month and usually do something different each time. Was a great way to socialize with other dads and find people in the same situation. Does anyone have something like this in their area?
