I just wanted to drop a line to tell you our situation. Our daughter is 5.5 months old, and my husband has been the primary care-giver since I returned to work when she was almost 3 months old.
I must say, as a full-time working mother, it is great to have been able to leave my daughter with my husband instead of at day care, and I KNOW Dad's can do just as good a job (maybe better) at raising children as Mom's. Sometimes I even get jealous of how much my daughter enjoys my husband!
Good for each and every one of you, who are choosing to be a major part in your child's life.
Jean

My wife had a happy hour tonight to send off a bunch of coworkers back to Arizona after a year in Oregon. She calls as she is leaving and asks if she can pick something up for dinner. Um...No....you could have called an hour ago and offered. Dinner is ten minutes from being finished. I was just waiting for you to arrive home to finish up.

So can I use this to get out of cooking some other night?
