Is there anyone familiar with the Madison west end area willing to give some "must sees"?
We've stayed there before, so I already got a bead on the free zoo, the YMCA, and the two malls in the area (both not busy, just open the door and let her go) but is there anything else worth seeing?
Anyone?

They have a great farmers market. It is held around the capital building. Word to the wise, go early so you can get a parking spot. Here is their web site: http://www.madfarmmkt.org/ Have fun. Chris

Tony,
West Bend is 30 miles north of Milwaukee. Make sure you hit State St there are fun little shops. If you like gyros go to a place called "The Parthenon" it's right on State St. Have fun. Chris

As we were driving by, we were thinking it would make a cool place for an extended family vacation. Both of us went to the Dells as kids, and half my family still live in the area... well, state anyway. \:D/

the hotel resort places on the highway around it are trying to draw people too with their water park stuff. It'll probably be a blast in a few years.
