The 50% factor

While outside cooking supper on the grill Bubbers comes to me and wants me to pick him up and spin him around.

I tell him that my back is really hurting so he goes around behind me, reaches up as high as he can and rubs my back for about 10 seconds.

He then returns to stand in front of me with his arms held high and says: "All better. Daddy spin."

He understands what hurt is, just doesn't quite get that when Daddy's back flares up it takes a lot more than a rub to make it feel better.

It is the thought that counts. My kids try to do the same thing. I will lay on my stomach and they will rub my back. Does nothing buy it is cute
