Can anyone recommend a good sippy cup? One that does not leak? My wife bought two from Walmart and they both leak from the rim.

We have playtex and they work great. We still have some from son #1 and no leaks.

WE love the advent bottles but the sippy cup conversion thingy was not so great.

Both gerber and playtex have been working great for us too.
There's one with handles, clear plastic and a plastic vent that we've got several of that really suck. Don't have any idea what the brand is though, sorry.

I bought a NUBY from walmart and so far does not leak. The instructions on the side said not to boil them but to only wash on top shelf of the dishwasher. Only used it once so far though.

If you've already got money tied up in Avent bottles, try the sippy nips that replace the bottle nipples. They also sell handles that you can attach to the bottles.

We recently bought some of the Gerber sippys and I love them. They screw on tight and don't leak. They also change color when you add cold liquids (I'm a geek).

If you are near an IKEA, I recommend any of their sippys. The lids don't screw on, but they snap on firm and are CHEAP (price, not quality). We also picked up some plates, bowls and plastic utensils from there. They get used constantly at home and at restaurants. I think they cost about 50 cents each, and they are virtually indestructable.

Thanks guys for the advice.

We've got Avent bottles already so will probably try the sippy tops that go with them first. Thing is our Avent bottles tend to leak sometimes. We solve the problem by taking the niple off and drying it and the bottle really good then reattaching. But the fact that they leak in the first place (when it is dry to begin with) is really annoying.

If the Avent bottles leak with the sippy tops then I'll try some other brands ya'll have suggested.

Thanks

I picked up a couple of Gerber "transition" sippy cups at wallyworld yesterday. Haven't used them yet, but will let you guys know how they worked out.

The handles adjust to different angles making it easier for the little ones to hold onto at first. Also the spout is supposively softer than normal sippy cups. I think Alex was having problems with the other sippy cup in that he didn't know what to do with that hard spout...he just chewed on it.
We'll see
