Hi,

My name is Matt Krumrie and I am a St. Paul-based freelance writer for The Family Times writing an article on what it's like to be a stay-at-home dad. What tips or advice do you have for other stay-at-home dads?

How can you make it work? What's the keys to maintaining happiness and fulfillment? What obstacles are there to overcome? What are the pluses and minuses?

Please respond with any thoughts via this forum or to my email at mattkrum@yahoo.com. Would love to hear from Twin Cities dads, but dads from all over would be great..any helpful information appreciated.

I am the father of a 4-year-old girl who stays home with her part-time and works from home sometimes...just an FYI....

Thanks,

Matt Krumrie

Check www.mdah.org for a playgroup near you in the cities. Contact Dave W. on the front page there for more info about the group. He's kind of the PR guy.
There's lots of good stuff in the past postings, especially in this advice section. Poke around, and good luck.

Matt,

If you are still interested, I would be willing to help out. I know a lot of SAHDs in the St Paul, Minneapolis area.

I still don't understand why you needed my name. You could have made up any name... And you wanted to call me. I am kinda suspicious.

You don't want to be famous, hahaha! Most reporters will ask that sort of info, I used 2 minutes of my 15 by being quoted in a USA today article.
