I have pretty much unloaded all of my e-bayable junk and I have sold most of the used books that are worth listing on Amazon. Have any of you guys hit on anything that works as a steady e-bay income?

It would be nice to become a "powerseller" in my few spare moments and make extended my SAHD time another couple years.

You could find a drop shipping company. Lots of scams though. Some one told me that http://www.worldwidebrands.com/ is a legitimate site and i thought about paying the money to access their database.

Basically you sell the items on ebay, the web or locally and they fulfill the orders. some even take payments but most times you act as the retailer, take credit card payments. Means using paypal or opening a merchant account. Not as easy as most people think :)

The question really is what types of things do you like? What are your hobbies?

We started a toys and collectibles business. Most of our business is done on ebay. I think it really has to be something you enjoy or it will become a major chore.

i am big into the video games. i basically don't pay for them anymore because of eBay. what i do is buy used games on eBay, then, if i like them i keep them, and if i don't i sell them back on eBay yielding the same price i paid or often higher.

other things i do on eBay is buy things at yard sales with direct intent of selling them on eBay. not too much, mind you, but one or two items. i'm no power seller, but i have made some fun money in the process.

Thats the way we are taking our business at the moment. Just something fun to do that keeps a little extra money around.

We just became power sellers a couple of weeks ago. Business has been really good this summer.

Video games and collectibles are huge right now. Especially the vintage items. Collectors seem to be coming out from all over.

So video games are not a bad product to get into.

i have an ebay store where i sell toys and stuff, i am no pwerseller either but it is a good way to make a few dollars. last year i got my own sales tax number and hooked up with a few wholesalers. www.biglotswholesale.com is a pretty good one. the minimum purchase is only $500. they have a good variety of items.

So you buy the stuff, they ship it to you and then you fill the orders?
