View Full Version : Dads proudest moment the daughters wedding!

Well my daughter went and tied the knot this past Saturday:icon_lol:
This is without doubt the proudest moment any man can have! It was great! Everything went just as planned without a hitch, the kids had a blast, the wife cried and I got drunk and didn't, fall down, pass out, throw up, or get undressed on the dance floor!

I don't believe I have ever seen my daughter so happy, the wife was happy and as long as those two are happy so am I!:chugchug:

One moment that stands out:
My daughter gave me a money clip all engraved and such at the rehearsal dinner, so being a good dad I of course used it at the wedding (I'm not a regular user of a money clip) So I'm on my way to the bar (again:pint:) and the daughter comes up to me puts her arm around me gives me a kiss and asks if I have any cash? So I proudly pull the money clip out and she is all impressed that I'm using it, gives me another kiss grabs all the money out of the clip and runs off to the bar with her friends! (some things never change!)

A link to some armature pics taken by a family member, the first picks are from the rehearsal dinner, lots of folks there but these will give ya a idea of how things went.:chugchug: PICS (http://photobucket.com/jenswedding)

Nice pics Chuck. My oldest got married a couple of years ago, the wedding was not nearly as nice but so far the marriage is working. Best of luck to the newlyweds.
