I have never been more tired.
It will get alot easier Stizz, well in some aspects, He wont sleep near as much in the future, but will be a little less demanding as time goes on.
Keep posting, and ask alot of questions, as there are no experts here, but a lot of trial and error.
Welcome aboard Stizz!!
that tiredness thing, hey, you just get used to it!

Hi stizzzzzzzzz
Welcome aboard. There is alot of great advice around these forums. It definitely gets easier my friend....
You learn to survive is a good way to put it. I have been a stay at home dad full time for 1 year. I used to be a stay at home dad all day and then worked the graveyard shift for 3 years prior. SO I am going on 4 years now.
I have 3 kids and one on the way. Once this new one is born I will be married 5 1/2 years and we will have 4 kids under the age 5...
My wife works 7 days a week and over 10 hours per day....
So it is all about jumping into a routine and "surviving"! :D

Remington, you have outdone yourself, you are the same age as me, 28, and you have quite a handful.

Well, my parents feel sorry for me at times but I actually enjoy my job now and prefer to stay home. It is harder work but I find it very rewarding!

Are your parents like mine used to be? Everytime I would talk to them they would ask, "you working yet?"
BTW, How old are others on the board? I just turned 33.

I was talking to my mom the other day on the phone, and I was kinda getting the impression that she doesnt like me staying at home. She never said it outright, but that is what I was gathering. She is old fashioned, living on a farm in Iowa will do that to a woman though.

My parents were against it at first. Knowing I spent a lot of money towards college and hearing my goals and career plans. Now my life is in a new direction. They think I was handcuffed and drugged by my wife or something, which isn't too far off the mark... ssshhhh!
But they come to visit and see how well I really am and they have simmered a bit.
It also helps because my dad is not working anymore and my mom still teaches....
So now I can ask him when he is gonna go get a job...

That is what my mom said when I suspected her not agreeing with my decision, she said "are you working yet". I just kinda blew her off, as we are doing much better than they ever did. She used to tell me that every parent want s to provide for their children better than they were provided for. Granted we got lucky with uncle winning the lottery, but still, that should not be a factor. Hopefully she will understand more in the future, if not, who cares, she lives in Iowa, I live in Philly.
