Image gallery not going well

Wasted too many hours last night, installed image gallery, did not work, unistalled, reinstalled, repeated process. :evil:

Tried a new gallery, installed fine but I do not like the software. Back to the drawing board. I might just have you guys email me pics and captions and I'll create pages by hand.

All we really have to do is start a new topic line called pictures. Then we can just upload our pictures to shutterfly or something else, use the command prompts, and post them right in our message. I think that would work just as well. Here is a pic of one of my fish for example.

Have you tried Coppermine Gallery? It looks just like PHPBB.

I personally installed this one on my Christian website:

You can actually change the themes and look of it.

oh, I see what you are trying to do Don. that would be better than posting in the thread. Nevermind my ignorance of this. #-o

You can set it up where people can post there own or you can post it for them Don so you know what is being posted. You can allow people to comment on pictures or not. Or rate pictures or not.

Coppermine was the one I really liked and was the one that would not work, arghhhh!

I used cpanel and installed it a number of times, never once worked.

I also have to try and control storage space, if people are uploading huge files, I woujld run out fast. Not everyone knows how to resize images and use services like shutterfly. I'm trying to get something easy that everyone could use.
