anti virus stuff

It appears that I have some sort of virus on my comp - I have norton installed and it shows a trojan of some sort - I have tried to remove it but cant seem to get it gone -

Which product would be a good purchase to find, remove, and repair my problem?

I too have been having problems with my PC the last day or two. I wonder if something on this site got us. I am going to get cracking on fixing it.

Phase one completed. I went to system restore and went back to a happier time. Now I will clean with McAfee and Fix it pro 9 and then be sure to clear old restore point dates in a day or so for a complete purge.
