Default Marinated TriTip

We purchased some marinated tritip. Last time we bought it we used the crock pot to cook it. We have no BBQ. They are also not allowed where we live. What are some other ideas on how to cook it. It is around 3 pounds. We have a george forman grill that does ok for the purpose but nothing to brag about.

I am just looking for some ideas.

Broil?

Or cook it in a cast-iron skillet if you have one.

Can you dig a pit and cook it in the ground? Not sure how to adjust temps, but yummy. Why no grilling allowed? Don't you live in the US? Isn't it a right?

One of the apartments we lived in didn't allow gas grills, so we got an electric one...the patio caddy. so sad. lol.

or an alternative to what HF suggested, get a campfire going. Either wrap them in foil or find a big flat rock and heat that puppy up and then throw the steaks on top. Hard core!

Indoor smoker? As long as you have a great ventilation system. They use them on food network fairly often.

We ended up baking it the oven. Turned out very good. Next time a bag of charcol for a few bucks and we are off to a park to do it right.
