Thanks guys, it's the 2 moms typically with 6-9 kids, which to me seems like too much for two parents to handle, he's been begging for last two weeks to go, so I think we'll do it this thursday, next week is spring break but the mom already said they weren't gonna go next week.

I think that 2 parents and 6-9 kids is just about right. I have no problems with the size of the group.
However, I think staying out until 9:30 on a school night for a second grader would be out of the question. But each household runs independently and what works for my house wouldn't work for others so its just my opinion. I have a 7 year old son, I would absolutely say no. Not for someone in first or second grade. If he were 9 or 10... different situation probably a different decision. |

May also depend on what time they leave for school. Right now we send my 7yo off at 7:30 on the bus. In a couple of months when the new school year starts he will be on the bus at 8:15 or so. Almost an hour later. So an hour more he can sleep in.
Either way it's only 1 night. You can't ruin a kid in 1 night. Have fun.
