Shh. He did not charge me. Had me "cancel" the service call to his dispatcher.
Looked at the appliance, reaffirmed that it was terminal, not cost effective, I got him a cup of joe, we talked about fly fishing for a spell. Super nice guy.

Hoping the dryer parts get delivered today.
Friday, it quit heating up. (electric).
That way tomorrow i can repair it.
Havent opened up the dryer yet, but I figure its either the temperature fuse or the heating coil. I ordered them both, just to be sure.

I figure if the coil looks good- unbroken without any burns at the connections, it's the fuse.
Can return the part I don't need.

Dishwasher still a problem. Having good results with Finish Quantum. hard water and inabilty to break down detergents has been an issue.

I blew up the clothes dryer again. Same problem. Overheated and blew the thermal fuse. NewTF should arrive tomorrow. Its a 15 minute repair.
Note to self: turn the dryer down to medium heat, Perm Press.

Have you tried repairclinic.com? That's my go-to when stuff like that fails. I'll have to check out partselect, too.

I kid you NOT. New clothes dryer in the house (I kept the last one going for 12 yrs), 3days on site, total of 4 loads and it quits blowing heat. WTF?!
Repairman from the store cannot be here for 4 days more.
