Holding you to that! That old thread where you built the huge cabinet was one of the reasons I joined DSH long ago.

I bought my garage kitchen cabinets at our Restore, as dlp said, worked out well. You do need drawers for smaller stuff, should be a cool project sao.

By the way, these drawer slides are the ones I used in the boys bedroom (except 28" ones), I was impressed with them. Shipping is a little high, since they're beefy, but they only add $1 for each additional one. Holds 100lbs, nice ball bearing slide.

yep those are the slides I use in cabinets as well, that is really cheap though, thanks for the link, normally they run about $20 per.
On another note, going to get my tire fixed yesterday I happened across a little woodworking store I didn't know was there, very close to my house. So I went in just to see what they had, wanted to know if they could get wood and get prices mostly. They don't sell wood, just tooling and stuff. I was excited to see the wood putty I use which can be difficult to find. But then the guy comes out and he was just a prick. Had no desire to speak to me or answer my questions. Fuck you buddy I'll take my business elsewhere.

We are not all rich with a mansion for a garage. You could fit most people's houses in that badboy.

I only paid $15K to have the shop built. It's in with the mortgage. It's only a 30x40 so it's not really that big.

Our problem is we don't have the land to add on, it's a problem with the house as well. Which will have to be addressed soon as we have really outgrown the house. Ideally I'd like to have something like that, I could fill it with the shit I already have, and it would be nice to do some woodworking without moving ten billion fucking things just to use the table saw, or router table, or planer, et cetera. And I wouldn't mind having that lift either, hell when I build the shop I'll even let you buy me a lift as a shop warming present.

Mine is only like 20x21 or something like that. That would be AWESOME to have. Plus yours is likely heated.

Heated? You make me laugh. I have a jacket and one of those kerosene torpedo heaters. In the summer I have two box fans and sweat.

Seriously, I do like my shop. If it were only bigger though. I have to move the welder and table saw every time I need the alignment rack. If I need the cherry picker, it's a good 20 minutes to dig it out and set it up.

What I need is one of the abandoned hangars down at the municipal airport.
