I've considered it, but the quirk with keto is you have to be able to keep your carb intake too low too consistently. Doing that would annoy the crap out of the rest of the family and I'm not making a separate dinner for just myself every night to make that work.

Keto for the adults. (Meat and vegetables) and kiddie meal for the 8 year old.

My wife would riot if I tried to push keto on her as well. It'd literally be prepping it just for myself and I really can't justify spending the time on that with everything else I have to get done.

In all fairness, I get that.
For me it's a medical treatment prescribed by my nuero team. My wife is totally onboard, we've seen the results, both in research studies, patient history reports, and in me.
We've all seen the Atkins diet. It's just a lower carb or no carb Atkins with fat being the main fuel-instead of carbs. Eat more fat in the keto. Put butter on evrytang!
I ask my wife every night if she wants some? Allot of nights she'll eat what the lil princess eats.

I've got a buddy who does it and swears by it. I'm definitely interested, but don't think it's gonna work out for me at this stage. I'll be keeping it in mind for the future though.
