Default Borderlands

Thought I would start a FRESH thread just for this...

tt3 "

I went over to find the sniper rifle parts and ...shoot, I don't remember what the next part is but I'm looking for the mine key I think, so I have to go past the sniper rifle parts place to the next portal. Every time I get somewhat close to clearing the path and getting to the portal I hear something like "this is enough, can we watch something different?" I passed on a rocket launcher I think, inventory is full. I've got a couple high level weapons that I wanted to hang onto once I level up far enough... and a revo I was waiting to see if you wanted. Plus some class things that are level ups too at least one blue of those.

I just need to start selling stuff. I'm a pack rat! "

I have the mine key... That was interesting. I have a great SMG, Pistol and Sniper Rifle. Just found the parts for the COMBAT RIFLE! In the mine key area I found a better sniper rifle than the one you find the parts for. I am like level 15 or something.

I'll fix the title.

It's somewhat frustrating to have to clear the path each time in order to get back to where you need to be, not conducive to getting places when I only have 20-30 minutes to get a little gaming in. Stupid skags...
Still a fun game though, I just need a good hour or two to play it, like this afternoon during nap time since the house is clean from this weekend.

Agreed, it can be frustrating. I try to make sure that I at least get to a new spawn pole ( the one's with the "X's" on them) before I shut the game off, that way I don't start again in Fyrestone. It's definitely a flaw in the game that I hope they address in the sequel.

Yeah I noticed that flaw as well. I was working last night, but that was my LAST weekend OVERNIGHT!!! 4 more nights left! ( Wed, Thur, Wed, Thur)

I will probably be on a little most nights. I prefer relaxing by killing stuff then watching TV.

I noticed that the BOSSES respawn... I killer Bonehead and I was goofing off DRIVING around and ended back at his camp and there he was. So I RAN HIS @$$ over! LOL that was A-W-E-S-O-M-E

The biggest problem I had going to get the mine key was the shear amount of badguys. Between the Skags and the bad guys I actually ran out of ammo. Then if you go back to the ammo vending machines the Skags respawn! I did finally get all the ammo holding upgrades that were like $600 each. Now I need to get the $6000 ones...

If you see me on playing please feel free to hit me up. My son plays it OFFLINE so if you see Borderlands up that is me.

Running shit over is hilarious. I'll drive into the middle of the skags dens and then just go back and forth.
um... thankfully its all makebelieve.

I don't want to spoil anything but the game gets much less...restrictive in regards to travel later on.

One thing I noticed is the game is pretty linear up to this point. Fallout and Red Dead are more of a nonliner game other than the main plot. (Which can also be played a little different)

I figured the game would open up a bit more as you got further on. The very beginning is extremely linear then you get the job board and it opens up a little. So I figure when you leave this first area it will open up more.

It's pretty linear all the way through, there's the main quest and then jobs open up on Bounty Boards. There's definitely alot more places to see though and they're pretty big. Lot's of different enemies as well. The real star of the game is the loot, that's what keeps me coming back.

It does it turns into a sandbox after fyrestone. Although there tends to be a lot of going back and forth on fetch missions. Once you get to trash coast the game picks up quiet a bit. My favorite so far has been Dr. Neds zombie island. I just started the new revolution so we will see
