Is there anyone here getting those -40F temps in Minnesota? That is -40C too I think. That is soooo cold. I'm cold here and its only in the 30s and 40s. Brrr. Do they close schools because of temperature MIDAD? I was never that lucky. Blizzard...didn't matter. I was walking to school. From Kindergarten to high school.

How are you doing with all the snow North Country Dad? Man, 5 or more feet in many areas of your neck of the woods, it's totally crazy. We only have about 1.5-2.0 feet, cold, windy, not fun. Kids have been able to sneak out twice and even with the cold, are loving the snow. My 3 year old does not even want to come in the house even with cheeks that are rosy red.

Temps holding in the low teens I think, wind chill below zero and another day of no school for my oldest, that 3 days off this week. He only had school on Wednesday, I need some of this drink:

We got a dusting of snow the other day and now it is 10 outside. All those warm days are catching up with us here in the east.

They close schools here usually because of wind chills. When I was a kid it was -30 with the wind to close schools, I think it's the same today. Seemed we never really had many days off school from weather related problems either. Supposedly the busses wouldn't start either....by the end of the second day of I was ready to start packin up my jumper cables to give them a hand...

Its been solidly under zero for a while here, but they're talking teens above for the weekend. It still -10 right now. With the windchill its -23.
