Finished "Mick" by Chris Anderson. Mr. Anderson wrote Mick Jagger's last biography in 1993. I guess he had to keep us up to date with Mick's last 20 years which was about as wild as the previous 50 or so. It is amazing what the human body can sometimes take. Who knows if there will be another update in the next 10-20 years.

Finished another children's book, Danny, the champion of the world, very good little book, if you have 9-12 yr old's I recommend it. (for them, but it was good enough to keep adults interested)

My wife got a great deal on a refurb'd Kindle the other day. I've found it's much easier to read on that while dealing with the baby than it was trying to hold a book.
So far I've just been reading some Philip K. Dick short stories that were available for free. |

Just finished "Confessions of a Surgeon" by Paul Ruggieri, MD. Pretty insightful behind the scenes look at the typical life of a general surgeon. It is amazing the amount of data kept on Surgeons by their hospitals that is not shared with the public. Would make it a lot easier to pick a surgeon if it were available. You guys who are in the local medical community or have wives who are have a leg up. If you ever come across someone who works in a local hospital (preferably in surgery) befriend them. They know all the quacks. The money is good but the lifestyle sucks for these guys. Not much of a social life and the hours are crazy long and erratic.

Read Unbroken while away on vacation. A friend had recommended it at the end of last summer, but I was already reading for school so I put it off until now.
Amazing book....one of the only books that I've read that I never wanted to put it down throughout the whole book. I take that back, I felt I was losing interest around page 370, but then found out how what was going on played into the big scheme and got hooked back in quickly. It's about the story of a troublesome boy who grew into a talented runner and went off to WWII and was lost at sea and then got captured by the Japanese and was a POW. Crazy, crazy story. Highly recommend it if you haven't read it yet.
