My "upgrade" is so woefully inadequate that I'm not even going to share.

Yeah, mine is only about 20 up and 2.5 down. Slower than it used to be, but they tried to jack our price up so my wife downgraded a speed tier so the price would be the same.

But we got some new routers for the house yesterday. Some of those fancy mesh routers. We have a small house, but it was built in the 50s and has lots of walls so the signal would just drop almost in half just going to a different room. Had one of those range extenders but it was flakey. So far the mesh things seem to be doing great. I finally have the same speed internet in my bedroom as I do the living room.

Did not see a letter grade anywhere. Are those numbers good? I am on an 8 year old PC

Looks like I am heading in the right direction? No issues here.

I'm glad this thread was bumped. I used to get better internet speeds but had an Apple router that seemed to go down daily. Bought a new Apple router, a smaller one that was working well but after doing the speedtest, it was much slower but no downtime.

Did a little googling and connected the old router back again, hoping no downtime because the speeds are great:

352.5 Mbps down and
Upload Speed 24.04 Mbps.

I'd prefer not to buy a new router since I already bought a new modem about 6 months ago when the problem first started.

It looks even bigger when I trim the bushes around it.

We actually just switched to a new router(s). Our old one works fine, but reception wasn't good in most of our house. It's not a big house, just an old one with lots of walls. We were using a range extender but it would get wonky a lot. So we ended up with one of the fancy new mesh router systems. Great coverage everywhere in the house now. They even come with built in anti-virus and such, so it scans all the internet traffic before it even reaches the computer/tablet/phone.
