I just heard that Chris Cornell died suddenly. He was only 52. RIP.

The whole Chris Cornell thing was pretty sad. Listened to a lot of his stuff during my college days and just after. Amazing how listening to music can bring up all kinds of interesting memories, both good and bad.

Ativan is my rescue pill. After a seuzure I have to take one to prevent another. We don't want them back to back.
Even I know- only take one.

Lunchtime jam

Ukulele songs.
Listening to WXPJ/WXPN (kickass public radio)

Remember when when Eddie Vedder cut that Album/Cd
And then Train got jealous and cut a song or two. (Hey soul sister)

I play music in church. Yesterday we were playing and my wife brought our outspoken 11yo son. Though we told him he was too old to go sit up to sit on the steps with the pastor for the childrenís sermon he insisted and against our better judgment let him go up there.

Well, Joeyís got the ADHD bad and wonít stop flapping his gums. At 11 years old, it ainít cute anymore and he says things that are both embarrassing and sometimes even a little rude. Yesterday was no exception

Being fatherís day, naturally the pastor asked Joey what he looked heíd about me. Being that Iím a guitar player he said he loves that - but not all the time. I can understand that some times hearing me practice the same song over the course of several months can get ridiculous but itís jot something you share in front of the congregation.

What song, you ask? Iíll get to it. After I was able to lift my face from my palm and it was time for us to go up and play I had forgotten all about it. The pastor didnít though and quipped ďvery nice, but I was expecting to hear _____ like Joey has said.Ē

Anyway, this rendition of Elton Johnís ďRocket ManĒ is all for you, Joey. Itís extra cringy, just for you!
