The dried apple in there was OK, but I like to use a mix of sauteed mushrooms and herbs instead.

I'm still not sold on the eggs/tomato combo; though my wife is half Lebanese and would prolly like it. We go through a lot of pita bread here

Real men

OK Wills, let's see a video of YOU downing those eggs!

Lime - good call on the shrooms. Wife will love that even more. As long as the pastry isn't phyllo dough. Me and phyllo dont get along. lol

You Yankees flock here like rats. Anyways the south had culture until it was inundated with Northern.

If your taste buds weren't such pansies, you would have been able to get all the ingredients for this thread's dish in one fell swoop.

Get yer own thread, you hoser!

CF. I thought every store carried the pastry sheets. That is surprising. I use them for my pot pie too. Yum. I have some phyllo (sp?) dough in my freezer to make baklava. Usually found together. Yummmmmmmmm. Easy and oh so good.

First store was an awesome mexican grocery store. they had phyllo and some other stuff but no sheets. Second store was just plain out of them. Third store was Walmart and they had just stocked them.

Love me some good baklava. Makes me want to plan a night to Greek Town soon.
