Nothing big planned here. Friends are having a party on the 4th so we will go hang out at their pool and cook out. If the weather cooperates I hope to spend lots of time at the beach and by the pool.

AI hate my in laws. All of them. No respect for guest that drove in for YOUR party. Are YOU hosting or are WE? Why am I going to the store after I arrive for ice and refreshments and appetizers and salads and shit because you didn't fucking plan. And when I show up at your house, how come I'm looking for all your plastic ware and paper plates and table covers and napkins. What the FUCK were you two doing all week? DAD, how come the pool floaties aren't blown up? They all flat and put away from last summer?
Eating outside and violent thunderstorms pop up. Ok folks, let's get out from under this metal cabana next to the pool and go inside.
Grandma,"sit down it will blow over, the cabana will keep us dry."
Grandpa is under a beach umbrella flipping burgers soaked and there's lightning everywhere. (I grabbed the wife, kid and the dog and went in. Grams wasn't budging.

Some much needed yard work. We've had almost 5 inches of rain since Sunday. Sunny, hot, humid and then we get a torrential downpour for 10-15 minutes multiple times a day all week. The air is so thick, you can chew it.

No plans. My wife was invited to go kayaking on the Allegheny with her workout buddies. It's only for a couple of hours but they're going out for drinks afterward and I was not invited.

*Hmmmph!*

My daughter and wife were invited to a pool play date by a little girl she met a camp. Kudos for making friends! There's no one to play with around us. It's like we live in senior ville.

Beach today, church tomorrow, and then beach with some friends. Oldest has a sleepover tonight so it's just our youngest and us for the afternoon.

Yesterday lots of people in the area had dumpsters in their driveways. Some pretty bad flash floods. The local mall even flooded. Lots of people throwing out stuff from their basements after the floods. Fortunately we came home to a house that was dry. It was obvious lots of water gushed in towards our garage (our driveway slopes down), but the drainage and pump we added a few years ago did their job as their was no signs that water got in the garage.
