I busted my ass so much on the sheet cake (and burned it anyway) that I had to phone in dinner. The kids appreciate pizza over anything I cook anyway.

BTW, I used "all natural" blue food coloring and had to use a lot so the icing ended up tasting like blueberries, which tasted kind of weird on burnt yellow (gluten free) cake. It's no wonder my kids won't eat anything I make. :(

Home made barbecue shredded pork sandwiches. Yummm!!!

Took left over pork roast from the other night and shredded it for barbecue today. Along with Sonny's sweet barbecue sauce. They are good!

threw together an awesome beef stew, if I say so myself. It was a late decision, so I had to blast the crock pot on high for a few hours vs on low all day, but it still came out great. Both kids LOVED it, which is rare. Usually one or the other will like it, but not both.

Chicken noodle soup. Even made the stock from scratch. This is always a hit in the house, and Ian seems to be coming down with a cold, so it'll do him some good.

One thing I'm changing up this time is that I'm throwing in baby spinach instead of bok choy. I wonder if anyone will notice.....
