I listened to it on the radio. He said that both Malkin and Crosby were the best players in the league but that Crosby needed better protection from his teammates. Cherry also begrudgingly affirmed that Cooke was one of the best Pens on the ice for that series.

I dunno. At 79 the guy may be starting to lose his marbles....

CRAP! This will be happening in the next town over from me. Who knew. No time today to go check it out, not that I was invited. Pretty cool. CT is becoming a hockey hotbed! The Kings goalie, Quick, is from the shore of CT and went to school in Avon CT as well.

"Ben Smith, a 28-year-old righ wing, was called up from the AHL team and joined the Blackhawks for the final came.
The Avon resident is a 2006 graduate of Westminster School in Simsbury.
Smith has invited players from the Norther Lights and the Simsbury and Avon youth hockey programs to join in the festivities."

One of the worst written articles EVER. Wow. How does this stuff pass through QA? Terrible. I'm no genius, but you'd think a news outlet would at least read or have a spell checker/proofer. Wow.

You should go. Likely the closest you'll get to a cup for many years.

FAIL! After the crybabies in the Ranger locker room banished Torts I fully expect a Cup in NYC next year. Hell, the Rangers are probably already printing playoff tickets! I mean, he was the problem right?

Yeah, that article was a editorial disaster, even by my typing standards.

It doesn't matter who owns the Devils. All that matters is how long Lou Lamoriello will be around.

Glad to see they bought another team while they haven't hired a new coach for the sixers yet. That being said, I am glad they have blown up the sixers. That won't be needed for the devils.
