Have you found anything good for the kiddo?
We'll not buy any games for a while since the sports and zelda are holding my attention quite nicely. I'm not a hardcore gamer that can solve games in a day. An hour or two is about all I can handle, enough to slay some bad guys and find some rupies and back to chores I go.

good thing about anything Nintendo is your able to do all things Mario and Pokémon, it just may be awhile before they come out, I've been advised by my resident Pokémon expert that they are releasing a game for it so I've now been told we need to acquire a Wii.
I got to play with one at our local SixFlags a few weeks ago, they have a dozen consoles setup with games to try out, it is defiantly a different gaming experience thats for sure!

My nephew like Super Monkey Ball. I had a copy for the GameCube, and it was cute - you race a monkey (in a ball, of course) around a maze. The Wii version should be pretty fun since you need to balance the wiimote to make the monkey balance in the ball. Other than that, I haven't looked for too many kids games. Jack's too young still, and heck, it's Dad's toy!

Are you finding that you can't play it too long before you get tired?

That's what we like about it. You can get your fun in, break a sweat, still play together, but at a certain point - you're just done!

Kid kicks my butt at bowling with 200+ scoring games. I let her win 4 out of 5 target practice on Wii Play tonight and then summarily kicked her butt during the last game (I got the gold metal at shooting 8)).

She cried, moped, and whined. Too bad! Learn to lose! Learn to lose gracefully! Builds character! How you handle losing is just as important as how well you handle winning.

And there's always someone out there better than you or me!

Wow I almost can't believe it. Looks like SciFi to this 80's Atari boy.

I'm putting in for 2...
S'pose I should have done 4, but I'm trying to be, oh, I don't know...
Funny the order is processing right now and I was thinking "I wonder if Jeff knows about this."
