Thanks to two warm days here the pool is up to mid 80's with the help of the pool heat pump! Gonna be a nice weekend for cleaning the pool deck and planting flowers.

Ours is wood fired and needing new plumbing. :P The dog shredded the back side so I had to get a new liner. We're probably still weeks away from pool time.

Pool has been open a month now. Disclaimer- I had to replace the filter, salt system, and pump so I had them open the pool while they were here. No heater on ours but might get a solar cover for the fall.

Ours is electric. Too far to drag a gas line to. We do have gas to the house. Been open for 3 + weeks because.......the wife wanted it open early.....because.

We have a heat pump for our house and we really love it. We pay less to heat this house than our old one and it's about 50% bigger.

I'm a big fan of heat pumps

I hear people mention the TED talks a lot. I know what they are, but I've never actually listened to any of them. Is there a really he variety of topics and such? They sound like there could be some worth the listen.
