Super Mario Maker 2 is coming out for the Switch. Anybody else's kids going mental for this? Joey wants to put money down now so that he can start building levels and posting them online. He's all about the recognition.

Meanwhile, I'm still firing up the 360 and playing the challenge levels on a 6 year old game and climbing the ranks. Yay me. :-/

Arkham City for the 360 wasn't ported to XBOX ONE. I play BL2 on the XBONE but little else.

I also have Skyrim on the 360. Hard to believe that that gem is NINE fricking years old. I still don't have the time for it though.

At some point we're going to have get a decent gaming PC though. Consoles are OK but I prefer the mouse and keyboard to the game controllers.

Been playing Skyrim lately. The biggest challenge is time management.

Yeah, I noticed you were playing it, game is a time sink

Borderlands 3 has its hooks in me, still playing every weekend since the October release. Even saw Fondest Pie (an old SAHD from this site) playing it, such a fun gameplay loop

Borderlands 3 is still too new for me. Joe asked me to dig up the old wii. Not the wii U, the original wii with the sports games. We used to play it all the time. Justin used to love watching us play together - until he chucked it. The console is beat to crap but I think it still works. One of the controllers is all sticky though. I have no idea what's up with that.

I found the cables for the wii and hooked it up to the 55" 4K LG HDTV. Man, that wii is OLD! I was scared that I'd have to buy replacement cables because initially the video signal was only in black & white. Then the wii Sports Resort CD wouldn't work because it was all scratched up. Joey asked "can we just buy a new one?" which prompted me to check online what the going price was.

Can you believe it's STILL $40?!? WTF?!? No effing way!

So I went online and looked up cheap ways to clean scratched CDs. One was real simple: take a tissue, tear it, wipe it on your forehead then wipe the CD in a circular motion.

Believe it or not but the CD works now. I thank bacon for giving me that greasy sweat that apparently serves a purpose.
