Yeah, that is awesome. We could really use a dog like that around here - though with my kids we'd need a border collie! They're yippers who were originally bred to herd sheep.

Took the dog for a walk yesterday, strapped the leash to my belt and found a place to lie down and twitched to see what the dog would do. She whimpered, nudged me with her nose and laid down with me, nudging me a bit more.
No training. Just love.
Half her job as a seizure response dog!
I need her to bark. Training starts Sunday.
Her uniform and ID and other stuff shipped fro Ca. Yesterday.
Treat motivated, she'll do anything for a piece of cheese, I'm gonna have to carry treats in a pouch to keep her focused.

Time change turned my 4 yr old princess into the bride of chucky. She was rotten from time she woke up until the time she went to bed. Histeryia fit at bedtime without ice cream or story. Bad girls don't get ice cream.

Wife invited 65 friends to my birthday Saturday. The Lk Samish Day Lodge was donated to us for the evening. A buddy of mine drove from Austin, Tx, and put his local band back together to play, on the house! Three other buddies got together and took care of the beer: local micro brewery pony kegs of Blonde and IPA. Friends stepped in and brought huge fruit platters, deviled eggs, commercial fisherman buddy brought crab, etc etc.

It was a blast, I must say.

Yo, Happy Birthday, TomCat. Sounds like it was a great bash.

Not bad at all. I wasn't quite such a grumpy whiney bitch!
