Sounds like fun. I'd throw a block party but 90% of my neighbors are tools.

All of my neighbors are nice. That's it, nice. Not as much fun around here as it was in VA.

Truck and boat are gassed-up. Packing cooler now. Cant decide if we're going boating in MI or downstate, weather for tomorrow is more sketchy east than south.

But tonight we are heading downtown for the Pilsner Urquell Challenge. Should be a fun time but I dont think my pilsner has the right characteristics to win. But you never know...

By God or high water I'm brewing this weekend... and helping grandma in law move closer in town to an old folks community.

This is my wife's "girl's weekend" with her friends from college. Sometimes they go away somewhere, but this year they are keeping it low-key and all coming here...and most of the kids of all the girls in attendance will be here too (my two, plus two babies, plus 5 and 6 year old girls. The two year old boy of one of them will be left home because he's a freakin' handful).

Rather than taking the kids away for the weekend, I'm going to hang here at the house and just be head wrangler, at least for my kids. The others could have made other arrangements, so I don't feel obligated to take care of their kids. Although I offered to take all the older kids (the 4 non-babies) out to dinner and to see the Smurfs movie tomorrow night so the girls could have at least SOME adult time.

Tonight we are all going to the local vineyard where an 80's band will be playing. This is the place that has the open spaces with picnic tables among the grapes. Very cool setting and very family friendly. Should be a good way to spend the evening.

Dude, you are being played. Most of the other dads of your wife's friends get a weekend off but you are just adding to the pile. I call BULLSHIT!

Staying home for maybe the 4th weekend all summer this weekend. My sister and God Daughter might be making the trek for the weekend to visit. I wonder when she will decide?

Probably jack squat apart from the usual jaunt to Giant Eagle and/or Target. I hope to get out solo tomorrow to make some sawdust on my guitar project.
