My truck is finally together, updated the plates, and has 70 bundles in the bed and covered from the rain. It has been a long ass day.

Saturday....drop a few loads at the laundromat, deliver bundles dependent on 7am weather, get a free coffee to go then veg out. If sleep comes I'll take it. Wife is taking the kids grocery shopping for a couple hours.

Sunday.....read a bit, but if its not raining/wet I'll get the bush hog back to the owner and cut his grass with before coming home and vegging some more. Wife and kids off to church for a couple hours.

Sometimes the weekends afford pops some serenity.

Weather.com was predicting the storms to come in at 4pm where we were going boating. They were only about 15 minutes late. We got off that lake just in time. wowza. Driving home was no fun.

More wakeboarding for the wife and I. Brought another family. All the kids tubed. The other two adults were unsuccessful at getting up on the board. Oh well....

Heading out to the Olympic Peninsula for a few days. Cabin on the beach. Should be good times.

Sounds like the same storm that killed people at the Indiana State Fair. They warned people that a dangerous storm was coming and they might need to evacuate but said that the band would be on shortly. Sounds like an insurance company is about to get a workout. But a horrendous event in any case. Last night, they said they were digging under girders to get people out from under lighting and stage equipment.

geez. Reminds me of a couple years ago we were at an outdoor music gig to see Keb Mo. He played one song, there was a brief grumble of thunder followed by a very short sprinkle of rain, and they halted it for the night. Everyone was pissed. But I guess they cant be too careful with a crowd full of people, not to mention all that electrical equipment everywhere.

wow, I hadn't heard until you just mentioned it. They were predicting severe storms for our region for about a full week. Shame on them.

and the actual video.... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_926327.html

That's the stage my wife took our daughters to see a show on Thursday.
What a horrible thing to happen.
