We had end of season events for both the boys in hockey. Then the oldest had a “camp in” at a nearby nature center with his Cub Scout pack. This also marks the time of the year when our weekend schedules become a lot more wide open.

Another slow weekend here. Going out to dinner Saturday night to celebrate our 12th Anniversary but that's about we've got going on. We start soccer next week so it's about to start getting busy again.

Sunday is Joey’s 11th birthday. He’s asked to go to Dave & Buster’s which we’re going to do on Saturday night after dinner at a microbrewery next door. Thank God it wasn’t Chuck E Cheese’s!

TBD, it all depends if my Son's basketball team wins tonight and moves on to play again tomorrow night.

Tomorrow is the 4th annual “Bacon on the Lakein”. One ticket covers tastings at 14 different wineries paired with a bacon appetizer. Doesn’t look like it’s going to be the sunniest day for driving along the lake, but there’s no snow or rain called for, so I’ll take it! The babysitter is all lined up and it should be as fun as always. It’s one of the few times a year the wife and I get to go and do something as just the two of us.

Hitting the Bucks/Spurs game tomorrow! All by my lonesome! And after a spring break week with both the kids home all day and the wife having two morning meetings so she was gone extra long, this cat is ready for some R and R.

We've already got plans this Friday to dye Easter eggs and make resurrection rolls. Saturday I'll probably play more Kingdom Hearts with the kiddos since my oldest will be out of school (trying to make sure she sees all the story parts) and then Sunday is all the normal Easter stuff.
