Default NHL off season

Good place to talk about what is going to happen in the off season and for people to post stories!

Any ideas of what teams are going to do???

I know you guys love the Pens, but here goes:

- Evgani Malkin is back on the ice and skating in Russia.
- Crosby had a setback while the Pens were still in the first round. Word is that he's back to his usual summertime workout routine.
- GM Ray Shero signed free agents Craig Adams and Ryan Craig and the word is that they're out of money so Pascal Dupuis and Maxime Talbot and Mike Rupp are likely to be playing elsewhere.
- yes, word is that Jaromir Jagr is considering on playing with the Penguins and there are rumors that somebody in the Penguins organization is interested. My question is "are they f##king serious?"

First NHL game I saw was the Jets VS the Bruins. Met Dave Babych during that trip too.

No chance of the Canes picking up that Eurotrash.

Uh oh. Looks like there's serious talk of Jagr coming back to Pittsburgh and Max Talbot turned down on offer in order to go on the market.

Flyboys get rid of Richards and Carter. What was that about?

they can have jagoff. He's a head case anyway. The Flyers are actually less competitive now for signing him. I'm really disappointed about Talbot though. Pens GM Ray Shero offered him a 3 year deal but Max passed on it and took a 5 year/$9 mil deal with one the Pens' 2 biggest division rivals instead.

Sabres were a bit busier than they normally would be at the start of free agent season. They have a solid Defense on paper now, just need a true scorer now and I like their shot at a cup in the near future
