Default The Last Templar

The Last Templar by Raymond Khoury isn't a new book, but I finally got around to reading it. From what I understand there was a miniseries made a few years back too, but for some reason I missed these both.

anyway, the book sucked. I'm not sure how it became a best seller, but I'm guessing they marketed it like some kind of davinci code type of book, to capitalize on that audience.

Took way too long to develop the characters, then they tell you who the killer is less than a third of the way through. I actually put the book down, which I don't do often once I start reading something.

I saw the miniseries first, then read the book a year ago. I actually loved it. I did think that it took a while to develop stuff, but since I typically read series, and not stand-alone novels, it didn't bother me initially. I also enjoyed the sequel.

I've read all of Khoury's books, I think. I thought "The Sign" was well worth reading.
