Yeah I was out all morning with 28 degrees and 40 mph gusts because some dumbass at another plant screwed up and we had to pull his ass out of the fire. I lost part of my plant and got windburned to boot.

It's not to bad today, either. Looks to be good day for ATV riding: nice and mudd with good visibility now tha all the leaves are gone with nice pale blue autumn skies. I hope you make the most of it FTM.

I just to took Justin for a nice walk. He needs as much time outside as he can get. I just wish he wouldn't pull so much and try to run off.

Oi! Good morning, guys. The kiddos are up extra early this morning due to my little girl's upset tummy. She was very vocal at 6am and woke her brother. Now they are both up almost two hours ahead of schedule.

I will be so glad when her antibiotics are finished. The cure seems to be worse than the illness.

That's because probiotics kill EVERYTHING in the gut, both good and bad. It's like chemo on a smaller scale IMO, only if you give them too little or stop before the script is up the original bug will become resistant.

The only thing you can do is follow up with some type of probiotic about an hour after you give them the antibiotic. I hear good old fashioned chicken soup is actually a pretty good remedy. If not, then there are gummies or yogurts out there with probiotics - and lots of sugar for yeast to feed on in the gut.

TC, look into Acidophilus -- I believe you can get it over the counter. We give it to anyone on antibiotics to help balance things out. Also give it to patients with GI issues.

Essentially it's probiotics...

We do shovel yogurt into her regularly. It's about the only protein that we can get her to eat, right now. She's been on them for about a week, now. This was the first major incident that we have had with them. Hopefully, we can make it through the next few days without anymore trouble. I may get some sweet acidophilus milk today or tomorrow, if the store still carries it. It used to help me with upset stomachs and acid reflux.

Getting her to eat soup would be next to impossible. Right now, she lives on air, water, milk, and the few things we can get her to eat. At least she takes her antibiotics without any real hassle. Conversely, my son will eat or try almost anything but will not take food or medicine by spoon or syringe.
