Hush yo mouf.

I'm looking forward to "Indian summer" personally. After that I may pull a "cousin Eddie" on Hockeyfan or the in-laws - that is if I can find a delapidated old RV for a song.

I woke up and looked at the clock and it said 9am! Damn! Can't remember the last time I slept in that late. The wife was up with the kids, had them breakfast made, and was reading to the oldest. I don't know what I did right recently to deserve this, but I'll take it!

G, I think I have forgotten what its like to sleep that late. *sigh* Given the opportunity, I believe for me it would have to be drug induced to happen.

9 am would be nice to wake up at on a Saturday. I haven't been able to sleep past 6 since high school!

You guys will get through it, believe me. I kinda miss the midnight feedings. It was peaceful, unless they were screaming because of colic of course. On the flip side, at one time mine were taking four hour naps too.

Good morning, guys. How did your overnight go?

We had a big battle at bedtime with our 6yo (we've had defiance issues we think is associated with how much attention his autistic brother demands of us) but mommy smoothed things over and he calmed down nicely. One big thing: he got up by himself in the middle of the night to go #2. It's not as significant as when his older brother did that last year (I'm praying that he repeats that effort and that it FINALLY becomes ingrained in his mind BTW) but still it's nice to not have to go through the whole "you should really go to the potty first thing in the morning" nagging routine.
