Damn, I didn't need to read that. So glad that's ancient history for me.

Morning.

Good morning, guys. Looks like we are going to warm above freezing. Might get the kids out for a quick walk in the stroller. Thanks, again to TomCat (I think) for suggesting the rain/wind cover.

Well... time for more coffee. What would we do without it?

So is this cold enough for you? ;)

I gotta tell you, schools canceling because of temperatures makes me feel like a geezer. I know it's an old joke to hear how some kids would have to walk a mile to the bus stop but I'm one of those who really did. Nowadays the buses come right to your doorstep but one thing that never changes is the ignorance of the superintendents.

Good morning. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. We got to go visit with my family for 10 days. Sure enjoyed that, but we all have had colds or something that will not go away. The coughing is something. The children are better finally thank goodness. Schools here were delayed yesterday and today for two hours as well as tomorrow. My five year old that always loved school cried to not go back. He said he wanted to stay home and play with his toys. Then when he came home yesterday, he said he wanted to go back to school again.

Morning. Well, if you ever want motivation to put sunscreen on you and your kids, I could describe in detail what the skin cancer removal from my nose was like yesterday. Having needles slowly inserted into your skin there, up close to your eyes and down the whole side is no fun. And then there's the big hole they cut in too. Lovely. At least it's all gone now. And my nose is the one place I thought I was good at making sure had sunscreen.
