Looks like about 4inches of wet snow here. Roads are clear, yard is pretty white. No need to shovel the driveway. Pippa's winter outfit arrived in the mail yesterday. Snow pants, parka, gloves, boots hat. Want to take her out and throw snowballs while I clean off the car. Previous two winters she hasn't enjoyed the outdoors. Like the Capt said it's "raw".
And the forcasted low tonight is 25 degrees F. Brrrr.

We got kicked in the nuts after almost getting back to normal. Power's out again. Lots of trees down. Lot of power lines down. What a mess.

Gonna go out and rough it at the park. Putting on some thermal undies and I'll be good to go. It's nice and blue out there at least.

Bummer Jeffus. I used to love it as a kid when power went out, probably wasn't much fun for my parents though.

63 degrees here yesterday (hot!), snowing today, -16F wind chill tomorrow night. Firewood's stocked and stacked, massive amounts of extra insulation added this year, I'm ready. Means I can finally slow down, I've been going like a madman trying to finish projects this fall. That extra R30 in the attic I put in Monday will be sweet. 31 sq. ft. roll of R30 for $11.87 at HD, that's a deal.

It was 33 most of yesterday, the water wasn't quite freezing outside yet. The wind was crazy last night, I guess some warm front is coming through. I should probably at some point poke my head outside and see if it's any warmer than yesterday.

Absolutely perfect. Normal day in the South. Enjoying a peppermint mocha from SB. Yeah I said it.

I can't criticize, I had one of those the other day. Damn things are like liquid candy bars.

I could use something like that right now. It's just under 40 and wet outside. Yuk.
