Great weather today, mid 80's, not too much humidity and a slight breeze. Was actually a little cool at the beach today

Brrr. 55 degrees this morning. Coolest August that we have had in recent memory. Yesterday afternoon felt like October. I'm hoping for another day like that today.

Lots of rain here. Could be worse, my sister on Long Island woke up to find her car parked in a 2.5 ft. puddle, UHG!

My bro lives on LI in Islip. They had 13" of rain in 15 hours. 3 cars flooded (should be OK) , leak in the basement and a leak in the living room, second floor. Luckily for him he is away in MTL for business.

Also, my BIL was to head out for a week long trip to Disney, 12 people in all. Because of the weather today there flight has been cancelled and re booked for.....next Saturday!! Holy crap! last I heard they were considering renting an RV and making the trek so as not to lose half their vacation.

We are and have been in the "hot as hell" category as of late.

Today high of 29C/84F, which is okay but with the humidex, it's 37C/99F. Yesterday was worse temperature wise but I think the heat is starting to play us out.

Cool and foggy. The leaves are turning and fall is in the air. I love this time of year. Time to drag a few fallen trees up out of the hollow and cut some wood.

It's going to be in the upper 70 s and is even supposed to hit 80 so I dragged out the inflatable pool and wiggly sprinkler. The pool has a nasty hiss and the sprinkler isn't so wiggly anymore so this will likely be more than just their last hurrah for the season.

Too cold for my liking. In the 60's for the next couple days. (I am dreading this coming winter).
