That's the way it is here too. Most elementary school gyms are used for voting. Teachers are at work but no kids.

Quiet on here this weekend.

Thought I'd add this for those of you who enjoy the colder weather.

Currently -10C/14F low for the night -14C/7F. The temp we are at right now is basically the high for most of the week. If it's this cold it might as well snow.

Sunny here. Suppose to get up to mid 60's by Wednesday, then the the bottom is going to drop out. Looks like this is the last hurrah of nice temps for the year.

Brrr... not as cold as most of you guys. We were just at freezing this morning. I was a little worried last night that I would have to do some early morning varmint cleanup. A skunk sprayed somewhere near the house last night leaving the living room smelling a bit tangy. The last time that happened when we were here, a rabid skunk crawled under the place and died. The smell was gone this morning, so I'm hoping and guessing that the little stinker moved-on and didn't commit suicide under the house.

It's actually quite nice today; sweater weather maybe, but warm enough to go without. It sure is warm here in hell.
