We mostly had rain down these parts. At one point it hailed briefly. The sun was out a whole lot too though. Not a bad day though.

OT: the grass is looking great. A lot of the dandelions have died off but the crabgrass is still putting up a fight and there are a couple of patches with traces of brown. I think I need to get my mower set up. The blade is all chewed up from hitting rocks on the hillside. That leaves jagged edges on the cuts which stresses the grass out. Luckily I still have my old (non self propelled) mower. I had it set up right before my wife surprised me with the new one and it got a new blade. I'll continue to use the powered one on my hillside and use the mean green machine to break a sweat. Win/win.

The weather has been chilly the last couple mornings but nice and mild during the days. Not a bad way to start summer break.

Bit chilly today, but supposed to be nice and in the 70's by the end of the week. I'd like that.

FINALLY SUN. We had one of the worst Mays I can remember, rained almost every day it seemed like. The last 3 days have been almost perfect, mid 80's low humidity and a breeze off the ocean. Needless to say being a block from the ocean has its perks on days like this.

Hot and humid. Yesterday, the air felt so thick you could chew it. The only relief was when a little storm moved through with some high winds and a little rain. Today seems to be back to normal.
