We had lightning, thunder, and severe rain for about an hour yesterday afternoon. After spending hours in the heat and humidity trimming the shrubs, the cool front felt like A/C blowing in before the storm. What a beautiful thunderstorm! We really needed the rain.

I love, and miss, Southern thunder storms.

Nice sunny day here.

Warm and muggy yesterday and today. We did not have 1 night like last night all last summer. A warm night where the kids could use the pool without being cold. Chance of storms later today. Gotta plan my mowing accordingly today. They are talking 95*-100*. That is summer weather!!

64 deg. and 41% humidity right now. Ahh, love summer here.

We did have some hail a few weeks ago that had some quarter size ones coming down, biggest I've seen. Fortunately only a few that size so only a few dents in the cars.

A little humid. Weather guy says the heat index will be about 105 today.

95 at the moment, though my weather gadget tells me it feels like 108F. Personally I don't feel like going outside and finding out.

Well, heck. I thought I was giving a picture of what it looked like yesterday morning, see now it's a live feed I linked. Anyway, it was snowing hard and sticking on the ground in that feed yesterday! Rare even up high here in mid July. Great for forest fire danger, I'll take it.

It made our local news last night here in Florida... showed scenes from Big Sky resort with the snow coming down! Considering it is currently 95 here with a "feels like" of 110 degrees F, snow sounds pretty good!
