You are a very brave man! I'd never, ever try that. We plan on driving to Atlanta (14 hours)but I have help with my wife and most likely my brother. We tried the trip 2 years ago and it was the worst vacation of my entire life. Kids were ok on the way down but terrible while we visited my brother and the ride home. We are hoping they will be better this time but My 3 year old has been a terror on two feet lately.

Back on thread, it's bitter cold here 7 degrees with a nasty windchill. Poor North Country Dad must be buried and more on the way. We are suppose to see 6 inches or so by monday while they are calling for 3-5 feet in his neck of the woods

I got eight below here, with -20 to -30 windchills. It's so cold, I think I might cancel our playdate (unless they want to come to my house today) and I might not even go to the grocery store until the wife comes home from work. It's gonna be a cabin fever kind of week, I forsee a lot of movies.

-15F wind chills in the -30's The whole county is closed where kids and seniors are concerned, the announcements started last night at 8pm.

Wife said it was -19 when she left for work, and her little p/u voiced it's displeasure as well.

Same year, couped up all weekend. Wind chills in the - teens and possibly a foot of snow to fall today. I can't complain too much, my parents called and said they were counting snow by the "FOOT" at their house south of Buffalo, NY. My mom says it looks worse than the blizzard of 77 which I have one or 2 memories of, one being snow piled up to the roof of the house
I guess they literally had to push the door open to start clearing some snow. Thank god my youngest brother lives with them, my dad is in no condititon to be outside moving the snow around and it's bitter cold.
