hey spectre,

My sis-in-law lives in Maryville - she teaches at m college. I'm in abingdon, va and I"m pretty sure I'm the closest guy on the board that's close to you. You're still pretty far from me, too. Closest other guys to me are in the triangle area of nc.

That'd be me..and a few others of course. So poppa, should be meet in Greensboro? Or maybe Mount Airy and visit the town from the Andy Griffith Show? I'm guessing that would be halfway. Have to map out where you are.

There are a number of us in the Triangle area. I get together with a few of them. Some I've met have been, well....not my cup of tea. Anyways I have one on here (he's moving though) that lives 7 minutes from me. A few others are about 20-25 minutes that get together often enough. One on here, who don't post anymore lives 2 minutes away and 5 minutes walk. So the South represents in NC. There are a couple out in the Charlotte area too. We're not quite as lazy as the New Jersey Dads. There seems to be bucket loads of them. And those Chicago ones too. Do Men still work out those ways? JK....

Heck..your dang near in Bristol. Nice. Even further than Boone. It's nice up that way. Yeah Greensboro is about 1.5 hours or so from me. I live on the south side of Raleigh in the burbs. I used to be near the airport, which is on the west side and much closer to Greensboro.

Is that that ride that at the end you can barely stand up cause your legs are so stiff from holding on? There is one out west from here like that, that I heard about. My wife's mother's husbands kid is in a band in Upstate NY...or was..I think they are no more. Anyways he was doing, or did the music for some DVD about that ride.

I'm one of those Charlotte area dads I guess. I try to stay away from the city. I did two years of graduate school in Knoxville. It's about 5 hours from here. Greensboro is about 1.5 hours away.
