We've got a home energy audit today. Should be interesting to see where all the heat is bleeding out from, and what they suggest to be done. I know some of the issues already, but I'm sure there's going to be some that pop up that I've never even thought of.

How are you playing standing up? That might be distracting. ;)

Irie, that sounds like a giant pain in the @ss....thank you! I'll be here all week! Hope you heal quickly, but things like that tend to linger for a while, ugh.

Wrapping up my son's cub scout 'career'. He crosses over into boy scouts later this month, and being the den leader for 3 of the last 5 years, frees up some time for me....so what do I do? Offer to help coach my daughter's lacrosse team! lol.

I know they have a head coach in place and have asked twice, which means they really need help. I told them I don't know a whole lot about the game, but I can provide tons of enthusiasm and fun. Apparently that's good enough...and they said the game is easy to learn.

Should be a good time. At least I'm seeing my job as MAKING it a good time!

So the paperwork is all filled out and signed. Getting a lot of work done. Getting good the house insulated properly, instead of the kludge that it is now. Replacing the nearly 50 year old furnace with something fancy and new. Replacing the water heater with a tankless model. Then the kicker, adding A/C to the house. I might actually have to stop calling this place the c@&p shack.

All I got to do to get Pippa to come to me is shuffle a deck of cards.
