Default Better than sex dessert

BETTER THAN SEX DESSERT

1 box Devils Food Cake Mix
1 6 oz. Instant chocolate pudding mix
6 SKOR bars or 2/3 C SKOR pieces
1 8 oz. Container Cool Whip

1. Bake cake as directed. Cool. Break into 2" pieces.
2. Layer half of cake into large glass serving bowl. Triffle bowl is ideal.
3. Prepare pudding as directed. Pour half over cake. Sprinkle with half of SKOR chips. Add second layer same way. Spread with Cool Whip.

I used Heath bars instead of SKOR bars, just because I couldn't find them at the store.

Dude, that looks awesome. I'm trying to lose a few though, thanks man. Now I've got to go to the store for ingredients.

My wife makes that! Looks like we have the same trifle bowl from pampered chef.

yeah my wife makes that too. A tiny bit different though.

If you look at one of the brand's devil foodcake box, the recipe is right on the back.

Poke dime sized holes all over the cake. Pour a can of sweetened condensed milk over the cake, then some caramel or butterscotch topping. Let it all soak in. Then top with your cool whip and toffee bits.

The sweetened condensed milk will make it so moist and gooey, it's outrageous. we dont make cake anymore. We make this. People can't believe how good it is.

Someone else told me the same thing. I am going to have to try that next.

my only other suggestion would be to add more toffee bits to the top. Cover that thing! You simply cannot have enough of those on there. Great texture to the gooey cake.

OK, I just found the recipe in my wife's recipe files. Clipped right off the back of a Betty Crocker "Super Moist German Chocolate" cake mix.

- 1 box Betty Crocker German Chocolate cake mix (make per instructions)
- 1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar (16 or 17oz) caramel or butterscotch topping
- 1 container cool whip
- 1 package (6oz) toffee chips/bits

1. Bake cake as directed
2. Poke top of warm cake every 1/2" with handle of wooden spoon.
3. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over cake. Let sit until soaked in. Repeat with caramel/butterscotch topping. Cover and fridge until chilled (couple hours).
4. Spread whipped topping all over cake. Sprinkle with toffee bits.
5. Prepare for sugar high.
