Looking good, man!

I'm holding steady at 206 (third week now, I think). I have another sinus infection, so I don't feel like exercising, and I'm stuffing my face with carbs because I feel so damn weak.

Amazingly, I haven't gained any weight.

I'm keeping up these threads 'cause it's been helping me. I look forward each week to being able to post my progress. To those of you who are thinking about giving up...how 'bout you nut-up instead. Get out there and get some more exercise, eat a little smarter and don't give up. If this 300 pound gorilla can do it, you can too. Although, I guess I am now a 290 pound gorilla, but that doesn't sound as imposing.....

Nut-Up, Buttercup!

Thanks! It keeps me going too!

First week 220.5

This week (Mon.) 210

Keep on chugging. It seems a bit easier to lose the weight since I broke my rib and could not lift weight for the last 3-4 weeks. Just doing cardio and eating what I want but trying to be sensible, except for the beer.

That does it. You got me all motivated now. "Rudy! Rudy!"

Though my head alone feels like it weighs 300 lbs, I'm going to go exercise. Let the wife deal with the two snot-filled kids for a little while.

Crap. A good friend of mine called, and now it's bedtime. First thing in the morning! I swear...

...shit, I have a meeting. Okay, right after lunch tomorrow.

What time do you go to bed man! It is 9PM as I write this. I do not mind working out shortly before bed. Take a nice warm shower and hit the hay. Workouts also help me get through being sick with colds and such also. I have gone through as many as 5 halls cough drops in a cardio session. whatever works right?

I thought maybe I got away with it this week. LOL!!! Way to go taoistfrog - that is loads of work and dedication. I hope I can succeed like you have.

Week 1 (last week) -- 240
Week 2 -- 239 (at least it is a lb)

i can't wait for this winter to warm up to get outside and get active.
